Extraction Via ‘The Wing’
The roof geometry consists of two types of ‘wind tunnels.’
Each has a specific type of opening which allows for the wind outdoors to extract air from the space below.
These diagrams describe the airflow pattern over the entire roof and detail how our wing ventilation unite operates.
The two types of ‘tunnels’ as they sit within the overall roofscape.
The wing vent extracts air out of the interior by creating an area of low pressure inside as the air passes more quickly on the exterior side.
The wing extends out of it’s frame in the roof to allow for ventilation when desired.
