Nash,
Thank you for posting images with scaled figures that start to inform viewers of the potential architectural quality of the surfaces. As we have talked today in studio, we should try to explore and focus on some of your main interests. I am in complete agreement with the direction and goals you have set out for yourself. Having said that, we would be very much interested in seeing some of parametric models that you are going to produce, but I was also thinking about how interesting it would be to see how the weave performs with Ecotect. If you’re generating a couple of options, maybe we can see not just the geometrical differences, but also some of the per-formative qualities. If you have some time, would it be possibly to run some qualitative studies of the surface (weave) geometries? I am not sure what would be the appropriate study to run, but it would be interesting to see if you can integrate and validate some of your surface geometry early on in the design exploration. Neil and I are available this weekend if you decide to contact us. Again, I may be jumping the gun, but if it doesn’t take much of your time, it wouldn’t hurt either. Thanks.
