Organized Intersections
A system of interactions and intersections of lines and strips are joined edge to edge through a series of slits and tabs creating continuous surfaces and possible roof conditions. Different types of scoring, cuts and geometry within each strip create multiple spatial conditions varying from a denser area to a more expanded space. The overall form of the model itself was a discovery after strips were joined together creating a cantilevered arch that can be manipulated.
Plan view showing the regularity of the strips within the model.
