Metamorphosis
A regular pattern of fastening units together through the use of cuts and perforations are done layer by layer in order to fill the volume of the site and at the same time create a space that exhibits possible form and rigidity of structure.
As each layer is added connections slightly variate from the previous. This creates
small scale reactions that affect the form on a bigger scale basis. On certain parts of the
model, there are changes that occur as layers of units are one by one, fastened on top
of each other.
There is penetration through other units to achieve rigidity.
Shearing, that is caused by fastening layers or the units on top of each other.
And lastly, there is rotation, as this side becomes more vertical when compared to the other side of the model.
