Welcome to the portfolio of Edward Hann, a designer from London, my interests lie mainly in the exploration of the static designed object, and the emotional impact towards it, producing work through a number of techniques including Screen Printing and Lithography. This portfolio is still under development and will be seeing loads of new work very soon, as well as limited edition screen prints in the new online shop this June. IDP 06.
Single Colour Screen Print
Internally displaced people 06, is an exploration in the theory of ‘designing for an ethical message’, using the uniformity and order of the grid, mixed with the natural topographical beauty of a landscape, to demonstrate the scale of humanitarian crisis in Western Darfur and Eastern Chad. Each print was screen printed by K2 Screen, on 240gsm GF Smith, Black Plike paper and is scaled at 720 by 1020mm. There are currently 20 limited edition prints available, priced at £40 to the UK mainland and £50 everywhere else in the world (prices include postage and shipping).25% of profits go to Amnesty International.
