STOCKhouse Development
As it stands, the house currently takes an aggressive approach to addressing the site conditions. The house rests halfway submerged by the surrounding landscape and halfway open to the Hudson River Valley.
This floor plan shows development of the parlor or main floor with the opening to the archive below. The archive will be accessed by a series of ramps. The ramp system will also include a path that leads to the master bedroom space, shown below.
The ramp will also act as a means of framing the roof structure from the archive space.
