Packing System
The simple geometry of a diamond within a square, embedded in Gold, indicates the growth pattern of the mineral. Preliminarily, the different tiling systems developed were highly dependent on the connection of the diamond, thus generating a secondary geometry system.
After reevaluating this scheme, I returned to my earlier studies and worked solely with the square and bilateral dissection of the diamond. A combination of three different manipulations of the bilaterally divided diamond inspired a controlled organization of these cells. The cells emerged in 3-dimension using a single sheet of paper, supporting efficiency as well as resulting in a highly resistant structural capacity.
