It operates like a lurking vine-work of containment to the point where they seem to almost consume the bicycles in a luscious flesh. read more
Generally structure is associated with simplicity and strength, while today digital tools allow us to understand structure as being integral to material complexity and aesthetic delicacy. Based on Gottfried Semper’s understanding of textile as the key component of architecture this symposium discusses tectonics as the expressivity of matter itself, arriving at a point where the classic opposition of structure and ornament, or abstraction and empathy, begins to dissolve. read more

It seems to be a solid source of writings and student work that opens up some issues that are close to heart. It is a fine collection of some computational work using Processing that opens up some interesting questions and takes the medium to some new territory. read more
Coming from the pages over @ gizmodo, here is a glimpse of a Theo Jansen inspired Lego walking machine. While it is not powered by the wind or nor does it use primed soda bottles to store energy. In the same vain as Jansen, this curious little creature that does a marvelous job of creating a high degree of control on what seems to be very little energy. read more
