Design and Existential Risk is a series of conversations with leading thinkers, designers, and educators
who critically question how the practice of design can imagine and prepare for extreme existential risks.
The series explores the ways design thinking engages sustainability and human survival now and in the future.
For those of you that are not lucky enough to get out to China this summer to see the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the next best thing is a series of images that at best can give you an idea of what we are missing out on….and in some ways…what we are not missing out on…for example the 4 + hour wait/line just to get into the expo, as well as, on average 3-4 hour wait/line to get into each pavilion.
