Recently at the Forum of the Centre Pompidou, museum for contemporary art, Paris, Jeff Koons‘ BMW Art Car was revealed to the public for the first time. Among others, Jeff Koons and Alain Seban, President of the Centre Pompidou was present. Koons’ Car was shown to the public for one day free of charge before it is scheduled to compete in the 24-Hours of Le Mans.

I knew this day would arrive…it was only a matter of time before Rhino was going to spear-head the development and get it done. iRhino was recently introduced, and for those who own an iPad, its a must have. Overall, it has some limitations, but it is worth the small fee. I was able to load my first 3dm file with no problem. A basic file will take anywhere from 10-20 secs to load…once loaded…there isn’t much you can do when it comes to modeling…but the zooming, panning, and orbit features are smooth..great 3d viewer. I am in the process of testing the stereo mode…More to come>

I am pleased to announce, Archigram has a new home @ Archigram Archival Project. I personally had the opportunity to meet and work with 4 out of the 6 members during an internship at Thread Waxing Space, where their exhibition took place back in late 90’s. Not sure as to how to comment or start a discussion involving green-wash related to architecture. What can I say, we (architects) have become very good at using excessive green roofscapes to develop architecture ideas, in the process, missing the bigger idea that is important…how much of the green is really necessary? I think we need to look no further than to our local golf courses and understand the costs associated with the maintenance and maybe we can start to understand the scale issue problem we are creating.
