The trailer for TRON Legacy, that is directed by Joseph Kosinski has just been released. He is a fellow GSAP alumni that has made the leap into feature films. With Tron Legacy and Logan’s Run being released in 2010′+2011′, I am sure this will help in solidifying his position w/ a new generation of science fiction. Be sure to take a look at some of his other commercial work that ranges in clients such as nike, Microsoft and Lincoln that is located on his site.

Selected projects from the Fall 2008 semester’s ‘Search – Advanced Algorithmic Design’ seminar, a six week intensive seminar in the visual studies sequence at the Columbia GSAPP, taught by Mark Collins & Toru Hasegawa of Proxy. The seminar examines object-oriented problem solving and visual/spatial research within the open-source platform Processing. A video of this class’ work can be seen here.

We were just able to get our hands on some of the images form the (im)material processes exhibition @ the Beijing Biennale. We are pleased to announce that core.form-ula will be joined this semester by Toru Hasegawa & Mark Collins of Proxy Arch. They are fellow Alumni of Columbia University and have been teaching Advanced Algorithm Design & Digital Detailing @ the GSAP and NYU sense ‘06.
